On Monday, June 15, forty workers at Taylor Provisions, a company best known for their Taylor Pork Roll, unanimously ratified a new union contract! Congratulations!

After more than a year of negotiations, the new three-year agreement guarantees annual wage increases for the life of the contract, in addition to a sizeable ratification bonus.

New with this contract, the Working Forman, Boiler Operator, and Forklift Operator positions will now receive an hourly premium.

Lastly, our top tier union healthcare was preserved!

This landmark achievement would not have been possible without the union negotiating committee, which included Executive Vice President Lisa Sanders, Bargaining Representative Peter White, Union Representative Ernest Dunmore, Shop Stewards Christopher Cruz and Gladys Soto, and committee member Young So Kim.
