The Bryan D. Ross Foundation

About

The Bryan D. Ross Foundation was established through the vision and efforts of the officers and members or United Food and Commercial Workers Local 152 to provide monetary assistance to Local 152 members, their families, and their community, as well as charitable causes, and/or organizations and members who are in financial need.  The Foundation was formed following the tragic and unanticipated death of the son of a former UFCW Local 152 staff member in recognition of the family’s gratitude for the generosity of the UFCW Local 152 membership.

The purpose of this organization is to support charitable causes and/or organizations as well as to assist members of United Food and Commercial Workers Local 152, their families, and their community who suffer from financial hardship, including but not limited to helping defray the cost of catastrophic illness or injuries. The functions of the Fund will be to establish and award assistance grants, and to solicit and raise money and disburse same for this purpose.  Funds will be sought by voluntary contribution from members and friends of UFCW Local 152, from industry and from the general public.
