We are proud to announce that on Monday, June 10th, members who work for Chartwells School Dining Services ratified a new union contract!

The five-year agreement introduces many great changes for these members. Firstly, all members will receive a strong initial general wage increase, in addition to annual increases for the life of the contract.

On top of that, the committee secured three personal days and added Juneteenth as a paid holiday. Finally, the uniform and equipment allotment was boosted from three sets of shirts and aprons to five sets, and the safety shoe reimbursement was increased!

Congratulations to our members at those on the negotiating committee! This included VP/Director of Field Services Peggy Kelly, Union Representative Chad Brooks, Shop Steward Abigail Lopez (Pennsauken campus), and Sandra Lamphere (Sicklerville campus).

UFCW Local 152 proudly represents about twenty members at Chartwells School Dining Services at Camden County Technical Schools. These members work at both the Pennsauken and Sicklerville, NJ locations, preparing and serving meals to the students.
