Over 200 Workers at Catelli Brothers Ratify New Union Contract – 10/02/2025

On Thursday, October 2, more than two hundred workers at Catelli Brothers in Camden, New Jersey ratified a new union contract.

The new three-contract provides considerable enhancements for our members. First, all members will receive the highest annual across-the-board wage increases ever negotiated. In addition, all members who are called back into work for an unscheduled shift after already leaving for the day will now receive guaranteed hours at double-time.

Healthcare benefits were preserved, and through hard bargaining, the Employer agreed to lower the deductible, allowing for more money to stay in our members’ pockets. Finally, language was added to expand funeral leave.

Congratulations to our union members! This monumental win would not have been possible without the union negotiating committee, which included Executive Vice President Lisa Sanders, Director of Collective Bargaining Lou Faiola, Collective Bargaining Representative Chad Brooks, Union Representative Matte Kane, Chief Shop Steward Richard Mosley, and Shop Stewards Lem Cox, Abraham Matos, and John Patterson.

UFCW Local 152 proudly represents more than two hundred workers at Catelli Brothers Family of Foods, a meat manufacturing facility best known for its high-quality veal and lamb products. These union members work in production, maintenance, shipping, and more.
