On Friday, July 10, forty workers at DWK Life Sciences in Millville, New Jersey, unanimously voted to ratify a new union contract!
The three-year agreement includes an immediate, substantial across-the-board wage increase, in addition to yearly increases for the life of the contract. It also includes a longevity increase to reward more senior members. This hard-fought agreement will also provide retroactive pay from May 31. This contract also froze the employee healthcare cost-share.
Congratulations to our members at DWK Life Sciences! This great contract would not have been possible without our negotiating committee, which included Director of Bargaining Louis Faiola, Bargaining Representative Peter White, Union Representative Carilisse Lopez, Shop Stewards Theresa Martin and Kenny Rojas Tezna, and committee members Charmaine Brown and Irene Johnson.
