On Wednesday, February 16th, 2022, UFCW Local 152 members at Spring Oak of Vineland, an assisted living facility in Vineland, New Jersey ratified a new union contract!

The new contract ensures all members will receive an immediate across-the-board wage increase, in addition to yearly increases. Health insurance rates will remain the same throughout the life of the contract.

It also introduces a Lead Program. In certain departments, a member will be selected as a “Lead” based on various parameters such as seniority and skill set. These Leads will receive an additional $1.50 on top of their regular rate. Furthermore, in an effort to reward members who train newly hired workers, the new contract also implements a Preceptor Program which will provide trainers a $50 weekly bonus.

Finally, longtime members with more than fifteen years of service will now have an additional personal holiday.
