Liberty Bell Steak Co. Workers Ratify New Union Contract – 2/19/2025

Liberty Bell Steak Company workers and union representatives at the ratification, 2025.

On Wednesday, February 19, about thirty members at Liberty Bell Steak Company in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania ratified a new union contract! Congratulations!

The five-year contract creates positive change for our Liberty Bell Steak members. First, all members will receive an immediate wage increase in addition to yearly wage increases. Furthermore, employees who operate specific equipment will receive further compensation to reflect their skill set.

The negotiating committee maintained the members’ affordable healthcare costs for both single and family coverage. Alternatively, for those members who do not need the offered health insurance, opt-out bonus payments were increased. The maximum contribution to the Local 152 Savings Fund was increased. Finally, funeral leave was extended to include more family members.

Congratulations to our members at Liberty Bell Steak Company and the union negotiating committee for a job well done! The committee included Executive Vice President Lisa Sanders, Union Representative Ernest Dunmore, Shop Steward Vincent Freeman, and members Fredrick Drayton and Zuleica Rosado.
