On Wednesday, June 17th, UFCW Local 152 members at Hanover Foods in Clayton, Delaware stood together and voted to ratify a new contract!
The three-year contract has introduced many new perks for these hardworking UFCW Local 152 members. First, all members will receive a substantial wage increase. Many year-round positions received negotiated market-driven increases, ranging from $0.85 to $2.95 per hour in the first year of the agreement alone! The contract maintains little to no cost share increases on their affordable health insurance and increases the weekly maximum pay for temporary disability.
New language was also implemented throughout the contract to strengthen the rights of our union members, including language:

UFCW Local 152 proudly represents about ninety members at Hanover Foods in Clayton, Delaware. Our members work in a variety of positions, including production, sanitation, maintenance, shipping and receiving, and more. The Hanover Foods plant in Delaware is best known for supplying frozen waffles, grilled chicken, and various vegetables.
