On Friday, December 6th, UFCW Local 152 members at Chartwell School Dining Services’ Sicklerville and Pennsauken, NJ campuses stood together and voted to approve a new contract!
The new five-year agreement introduces many new perks for our members. To name a few, members will now enjoy:
- a competitive wage increase each year for the life of the contract;
- a new medical benefits plan, including brand new legal benefits;
- established New Jersey Sick Leave language;
- and an increase in personal holidays.
Congratulations to our members and the Negotiating Committee! This included Assistant Director of Collective Bargaining Dan Ross, Jr, Director of Field Services Peggy Kelly, and Shop Steward Debora Sawyer. Job well done!
Between the two locations, UFCW Local 152 represents about twenty members at Chartwell School Dining Services. These members work as cooks and food service workers at the Camden County Technical Schools’ Pennsauken and Sicklerville locations.
