On Wednesday, June 11th, two hundred UFCW Local 152 members at Samuels Seafood in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania ratified a new union contract!
The four-year agreement provides our members with guaranteed annual wage increases for the life of the contract, including an immediate raise. Additionally, the employer agreed to increase the monthly 401(K) contributions and modify paid time off (PTO) accrual, so some Samuels Seafood members will now receive more paid time off. Finally, the contract maintains their affordable union healthcare.
Congratulations to our members and the union negotiating committee! The committee included President Daniel Ross, Jr., Union Representatives Matte Kane and Ernest Dunmore, Shop Stewards Chad Harper and Matt Miller, and committee member Jamil Stockton.
