On Wednesday, July 8, approximately 160 workers at Lassonde Pappas in Seabrook, New Jersey, ratified a new union contract! Congratulations to our members.
The contract, which is an 18-month agreement in anticipation of a new state-of-the-art facility opening on site next year, provides our members at Lassonde Pappas with the largest immediate wage increase in Lassonde’s history! Training pay was also doubled.
The agreement maintained healthcare benefits with no increase to the membership.
Lassonde Pappas members ultimately ratified the contract by a 95% margin.
Congratulations to our members! This contract would not have been possible without our union negotiating committee, which included Director of Collective Bargaining Louis Faiola, Bargaining Representative Chad Brooks, Union Representative Matte Kane, Shop Stewards Anthony Hannah, Calvin Boyce, Christopher McDowell, Sean McDaniels, Walter Allison, and committee members James Blankenship and Lashanda Wright.
