George L. Wells Meat Company Unanimously Ratifies New Union Contract – 5/29/2025

On Thursday, May 29, ten workers at George L. Wells Meat Company in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, unanimously ratified a new union contract!

The new three-year contract greatly improves the lives of our members at Wells Meats. All workers will receive an immediate wage increase, in addition to guaranteed annual increases. The new contract also maintains the affordable union healthcare.

Congratulations to our union members and the union negotiating committee on a job well done. The committee included Collective Bargaining Representative Peter White, Union Representative Ernest Dunmore, and Shop Steward Anthony Ditheodore.
