We have great news! On Thursday, October 6th, UFCW Local 152 members at Total Maintenance Management, the third-party cleaning service for the Cherry Hill Mall, ratified a new union contract.
The new agreement provides our members with yearly wage increases and gives members the opportunity to participate in the voluntary supplemental benefits offered by UFCW Local 152. The supplemental benefits offered include life insurance, disability insurance, accident insurance, and more. Additionally, language was added to comply with the New Jersey Paid Sick Leave law. Members will now have access to five paid days per calendar year to use in any manner consistent with the law.
Finally, the new contract gives members the opportunity to voluntarily donate to the Bryan D. Ross Foundation, UFCW Local 152’s very own charity, directly from their pay. The Bryan D. Ross Foundation is UFCW Local 152’s charity organization which assists members of our own union family suffering from financial hardship due to catastrophic illness or injuries.
Congratulations to our members and those on the Negotiating Committee! This included Assistant Director of Collective Bargaining Lisa Sanders, Union Representative Tom Hartle, Union Representative Jose Echevarria, and Shop Steward Pedro Correa.
UFCW Local 152 proudly represents about fifteen housekeepers at Total Maintenance Management, the cleaning service at the Cherry Hill Mall in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.
