UFCW Local 152 has filed two Unfair Labor Practice (ULP) charges with the National Labor Relations Board against Pelican Point. Please see the documents below for additional information.

Show Your Support on September 8

We are declaring September 8 as Pelican Point Sticker Day. We encourage everyone to wear their “CONTRACT NOW” stickers in solidarity and show management that employees are ready to reach a fair contract. Your participation helps demonstrate our collective commitment and growing frustration.

Union representatives will be at the facility on September 8 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. to answer questions and provide updates and stickers!

Your union has launched a coordinated, multi-pronged campaign that will continue to unfold over the coming weeks.

A key part of that effort is making sure management hears directly from the employees who continue to work without a new contract.

It will send the message that the dedication, professionalism, and contributions of employees are not being properly valued.

ACTION: Please make a point of speaking with Karen Bruno ONCE EACH WEEK until the employer returns to meaningful negotiations. Let her know, professionally and respectfully, that you are frustrated by the lack of progress and concerned about working without a contract.

Your voice matters. Every conversation helps reinforce the message that employees expect fair treatment and the agreement they deserve.

ACTION: After you’ve had your conversation, let your coworkers know you participated. Sharing your involvement helps build momentum, demonstrates unity, and shows ownership that employees remain engaged and committed to securing a contract.
