Great news, members: the UFCW Charity Foundation, a subset of the United Food and Commercial Workers International Union, is now accepting scholarship applications for 2025!

Every year the UFCW Scholarship Program offers scholarships to UFCW members or their immediate family members who want to further their education and demonstrate a commitment to their communities and UFCW values. Since 1958, the fund has distributed more than $2 million in scholarships!

Each year the UFCW Charity Foundation awards several scholarships of up to $8,000 each to UFCW members or their unmarried dependents under the age of 20. Recipients will receive annual payments of $2,000 each year they are enrolled in an accredited college or university for up to four years.

How To Apply

Any member who has been active since January 1, 2024 is eligible to apply. The children and/or dependents of active members are also eligible to apply if they are unmarried and under the age of 20 on May 25, 2025.

To apply for the UFCW Charity Foundation Scholarship, visit the UFCW Charity Foundation website and complete all steps. All applications must be submitted by May 11, 2025.
