On Friday, February 20, the maintenance department at Berks Packing in Reading, Pennsylvania came together and chose UFCW Local 152 to be their voice on the job!

Workers reached out to UFCW Local 152 late last year, expressing interest in joining the union after realizing their coworkers had many advantages, attributed to their collective bargaining agreement. UFCW Local 152 has represented approximately one hundred production workers at the plant for many years.

The maintenance workers quickly united and overwhelmingly won their union election. Congratulations!

In the coming weeks, UFCW Local 152 will meet with the maintenance workers and prepare for negotiations.
