Family Foods Workers Ratify New Union Contract – 8/22/2025

On Friday, August 22nd, about sixty workers at Family Foods in Bensalem, Pennsylvania ratified a new union contract!

The new agreement guarantees an immediate wage increase, as well as increases every six months for the duration of the three-year contract, in addition to a one-time ratification bonus. The Employer also agreed to increase the 401(K) match, providing an opportunity for our members to plan for retirement and a more secure financial future.

The contract includes additional sick days and another personal day for employees with at least three years of service. Finally, it protects and maintains their affordable union healthcare.

Congratulations to these union members at Family Foods for a great new contract. It could not have been achieved without the union negotiating committee, which included Bargaining Representative Peter White, Union Representative Ernest Dunmore, Shop Steward Nicole Montero, and members Betty Bazile and Grisselle Moreno.
