E. Frank Hopkins Members Unanimously Ratify New Contract – 7/19/2024

E. Frank Hopkins members unanimously ratified their 2024 contract.

On Friday, July 19, the workers at E. Frank Hopkins Seafood Co. in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania unanimously ratified a new union contract!

The three-year agreement improves the lives of our members in various ways. First, all members received immediate 3% wage increases and established future annual increases for the life of the contract. The negotiating committee was also able to secure continued monthly pension contributions as well as maintain affordable healthcare through the UFCW Local 152 Health Fund.

Congratulations to our members and the negotiating committee, who fought hard for this contract! The team included President Dan Ross, Union Representatives Matte Kane and Ernest Dunmore, Shop Steward John Shields, John Keane, and Chief Legal Counsel Mark Belland of O’Brien, Belland, Bushinsky, LLC.

UFCW Local 152 proudly represents about twenty dock workers and drivers at E. Frank Hopkins Seafood in Philadelphia.
