UFCW Local 152 Women's Network presents

The UFCW Local 152 Women’s Network will be hosting a “Teddy Bear Drive” for The Arc (formerly known as the Association for Retarded Citizens). The Arc is a grassroots organization dedicated to advocating for the rights and full participation of all children and adults with intellectual and development disabilities. The Arc has over 800 chapters across the United States, offering assistance to down syndrome and/or learning and developmentally disabled children and adults, as well as offering support to the families and care givers of these special individuals.

The Arc of Burlington County (located in Delran, NJ) is asking for new teddy bears/stuffed animals to give their members at the annual holiday party they host. Our goal this year is to collect 200 teddy bears or any kind of stuffed animal. While doing your shopping this holiday season please pick up a stuffed animal for such a worthy cause. I can guarantee you it will become someone’s best friend!

Teddy bears/stuffed animals can be dropped off to your Shop Steward and arrangements will be made for pickup. Or you can drop your donation off directly at UFCW Local 152, 701 Route 50, Mays Landing, New Jersey 08330. The deadline for drop off is Friday, December 1, 2017.
