The United Food and Commercial Workers International Union, together with EBS and Franklin University, is introducing three full-ride undergraduate scholarship opportunities for UFCW members and their families!

Background

The UFCW Discount College Program has an existing partnership with both EDVANCE and EBS to offer our members discounted tuition rates for many different degree programs at multiple colleges around the country. This amazing benefit offers members and their families a flexible path to higher education by offering online courses.

New for this year, the UFCW International has recently announced three full-ride scholarships to Franklin University, a school offered through EBS specifically. Learn more about the degree options at Franklin University.

Scholarships

• The UFCW Unity and Solidarity Scholarship
  Supporting students who demonstrate a commitment to solidarity, collective action, and strengthening working families.

• The UFCW Next Generation Scholarship
  Focused on developing future leaders who are ready to step forward in their workplaces, communities, and our union.
  
• The UFCW Bridge to Opportunity Scholarship
  Designed to help members advance—whether returning to school, building new skills, or pursuing new career pathways.

These scholarships are offered exclusively to UFCW members and their families! We encourage members to apply or to share this opportunity with eligible family members, including children, spouses, and siblings. The application deadline is Friday, May 22, 2026.
