Carmine DelVicario
Retired VP/Assistant Director/Union Representative
Carmine DelVicario began his union journey in 1974 as a cart pusher at ShopRite in Delsea, NJ at the age of fifteen. As the years went by, he continued to progress at ShopRite, where he became a grocery clerk and eventually a shop steward in 1978. Carmine was chosen to join the staff of UFCW Local 152 in 2000.
Since joining, Carmine has held a handful of titles including Organizer, Director of Organizing, and Union Representative. Today, Carmine represents retail stores and manufacturing in southern New Jersey. He has also served on the Executive Board since its foundation, helping make fundamental decisions on behalf of the Local.
Carmine DelVicarrio retired in late summer 2023.
