On Thursday, August 1st, over one hundred UFCW Local 152 members at St. Mary’s Center for Rehabilitation in Cherry Hill, NJ ratified a new union contract! Congratulations to all!
The new three-year contract brings significant advantages for our members. First, it guarantees annual wage increases for everyone. In addition, a new longevity pay adjustment has been introduced, rewarding long-term service with up to an extra $2.00 per hour on base pay.
Moreover, our dedicated union negotiating committee successfully secured affordable healthcare for our members, reduced the years required to earn additional vacation days, and added Martin Luther King Jr. Day as a premium paid holiday for hours worked.
Congratulations to our members and those on the negotiating committee! This included VP/Executive Assistant to the President Danette Montes-Palmore, VP/Director of Field Services Peggy Kelly, VP/Union Representative Chad Brooks, and Shop Stewards Dennis Hudson and Irma Greenhow.
