On Friday, May 2, the front-end clerks at Murphy’s Fresh Markets in Beach Haven, NJ ratified a new union contract!

These members will receive improvements from the new three-year contract. All members will receive across-the-board wage increases. Pension contributions have increased. In an effort to improve our members’ work/life balance, some vacation time may now be taken in days.

Congratulations to our members and those on the negotiating committee, which included Union Representatives Tom Hartle and Kelli Wehmann.

UFCW Local 152 proudly represents about five clerks at Murphy’s Fresh Markets in Beach Haven, NJ. We also represent workers in the meat, seafood, and deli departments in Beach Haven, Tabernacle, and Medford, NJ.
