UFCW is the Retail Workers’ Union

If you’ve ever bought lunch meat from Acme Markets or a ShopRite, there’s a good chance you were helped by someone in our union family!

Our largest division, UFCW Local 152 represents workers at major retail grocery chains such as Acme Markets and ShopRite, as well as independently owned grocery stores in the tristate area.

You will find our members in the meat, deli, seafood, and bakery departments. In southeastern New Jersey, UFCW Local 152 members also work in the front-end of the store.

Our strong union contracts improve the lives of our retail workers by giving them a voice at the workplace.
