Union Representative

William’s journey as a union member began in January 1995 when he started as a cashier in the beloved store of Ventnor ShopRite. He quickly moved on to become a grocery clerk and joined the night crew for several years before returning to days. As a result of the closure of that store, William assisted with the grand opening of the ShopRite of Hammonton, where he would spend many years assisting in several departments at a time.

William’s journey continued when he transferred to the ShopRite of Absecon where he would help run the front end. Eventually, William was hired as the receiver of the Hammonton store. In November 2019, he was elected Shop Steward.

In early 2022, William joined the UFCW Local 152 team as a Special Projects Union Representative (S.P.U.R.). Today he is a Union Representative.
