Carilisse Lopez

Union Representative

Carilisse’s union journey began when she worked as a production line lead at Tyson Foods in Vineland, NJ in September 2018. She took on an active role at the plant and eventually became Shop Steward in March 2021 and served on the negotiating committee through the company’s contract negotiations.

Carilisse joined UFCW Local 152 in August 2023 as a Special Projects Union Representative (S.P.U.R.). Today, she is a Union Representative/Organizer, helping workers walk the process of organizing their workplace.

Carilisse is bilingual and can fluently speak Spanish.
