Save a Life: Free Narcan Training Available in April 2026

In an effort to help raise awareness and reduce the stigma surrounding opiate use disorder and addiction, UFCW Local 152 is proud to partner with the National Center for Advocacy and Recovery, Inc. to offer our members free Narcan training.

Narcan (also known as Naloxone) is an opiate antidote administered via nasal spray. Learning how to administer this medication can make all the difference between life or death in an overdose event.

YOU can make a difference by learning to save a life!

In this approximately one-hour training, members and friends over the age of 18 will learn:

  • Signs and symptoms of overdose
  • Appropriate care to provide based on the person’s level of responsiveness
  • How to administer Narcan

You will leave feeling educated, empowered, and equipped with a Narcan kit.
