Louis Faiola
Director of Collective Bargaining
Lou Faiola began his union advocacy journey with the Teamsters as Vice President and President of Local 463 in Philadelphia, where he was elected to five consecutive terms. His focus was centered on collective bargaining, where strategic preparation, membership unity, and leverage-building were central components of his negotiation program. In 2017, Lou was hired by Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service (FMCS), an independent federal agency, called into contractual labor disputes to help the parties find resolution and avoid costly work stoppages and disruptions.
Lou was a former Board member of multiple music-based non-profits such as The Bands of Brothers, which raised awareness of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder of returning Afghanistan and Iraq veterans, and the Sara James Music Foundation, raising funds to provide music lessons for underprivileged children. Lou was also the owner of Powerhouse Gym in Philadelphia from 2001-2019.
In 2025, Lou was hired as Director of Collective Bargaining with UFCW Local 152 and has been advocating for the rights of working people at the table ever since.
